If you have been following the war, then you may recognize the name of the city, Kharkiv. It is only nineteen miles from the Russian border. It continues to be under attack. MUCH has a contact, Vika, that we have sponsored since the beginning of the war. We have helped a number of people and families in her area. Earlier in the summer, Vika asked if MUCH could sponsor a river rafting trip for children in the Kharkiv area. We were able to do so.
In August, teenagers from Vika’s city traveled across the country to a camp in Western Ukraine. Here they had a week away from the war, their normal. Thanks to you, dear friends, the children had this opportunity to forget the difficult moments of life, get away from a depressing emotional situation, and get a positive emotional jolt. This is a memory that they will carry throughout their lives. They enjoyed exploring the river and the beautiful scenery at a slow pace on a raft (a large inflatable boat for 8 people). The river rafting was an exciting experience! Thank you!
Two massage therapists of MUCH did not evacuate abroad or relocate within Ukraine at the beginning of the war. Dr. Natalia in the Southwestern part and Natasha in the Northwestern part of Ukraine continue to help children with disabilities.
They use not only massage therapy, but also physical exercise, acupuncture, muscle taping, and other measures to improve the health of the children. The parents see their children with eyes of new hope. Of course, everything good comes from God. Our massage therapists tell us, “Without God’s help, it is impossible to see the good result for children with such serious diagnoses. We are all very grateful for your financial support! God bless you!”
A few months ago, MUCH bought a massage table for Natasha’s clinic. Now, she is working without any back pain. She sends you a very BIG thank you!
