It was a true blessing to meet Sasha and his remarkable family. When the war with Russia escalated, a friend of mine (Sveta’s) connected us with Sasha through a smartphone call. Some of you may remember the story about MUCH helping Sasha and his family start a mini-farm of chickens and ducks to support their growing household. We sponsor his mission of humanitarian/evangelical outreach. This family of faith bringing hope to Ukraine’s forgotten villages.
A Ministry of Music and Compassion

Today, Sasha, his wife, and many of their 11 children continue serving others with extraordinary faith, compassion, and perseverance.
An accomplished musician, Sasha teaches his children to play a variety of musical instruments. Together with youth from their church and Sasha with some of his children travel throughout small towns and remote villages sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ through music, poetry, encouragement, and personal connection.
Reaching the Elderly with Love
- Visiting elderly residents in villages
- Ministering in nursing homes
- Encouraging those confined to their rooms
- Giving gifts and encouragement to those in need
Sasha’s ministry team tirelessly visits communities across the region, including isolated villages where many elderly residents have chosen to remain despite the dangers of war. These individuals often live alone and rarely receive visitors.
The team also ministers in nursing homes and conducts small church-style services for residents. Many elderly people cannot walk to gathering areas, so Sasha and the youth visit them personally in their bedrooms—offering prayer, conversation, music, and small gifts that bring comfort and hope.

During the summer months, Sasha and his team also organize children’s camps filled with games, music, campfires, and opportunities to plant seeds of faith in young hearts.
Sasha recently shared this heartfelt message with MUCH:

Sasha’s words reflect the love he carries for God and for people. His family continues to shine brightly in difficult circumstances.
We are also excited to share that one of Sasha’s daughters recently earned her massage therapist certification.
Mark and I hope to visit Sasha and his family in June, and we look forward to sharing more updates from their inspiring ministry.
