God Prepared Nadya—You Helped Make It Possible!
From Refugee to Healing Hands!
When Nadya’s family returned to Ukraine after fleeing the war, friends in Germany gave them an unexpected gift—an adjustable massage table. They were grateful, but they couldn’t imagine why they would ever need it.
Months later, God revealed the answer.
This year, thanks to your faithful support, MUCH is sponsoring four young women to become massage therapists. Nadya is one of them. She completed her massage therapy training in February and began treating clients last month.

Recently, Sveta and I had the opportunity to visit Nadya and her family in the Kyiv region. Six of the family’s nine children were home during our visit.
Nadya is a remarkable young woman who:
- Speaks Ukrainian, English, German, and Russian.
- Plays both the piano and violin.
- Was homeschooled.
- Helps her parents care for the family farm.
- Assists in caring for her younger brothers and sisters.
Although she has only recently begun her work as a massage therapist, Nadya is already making a difference. One of her first clients was two-year-old Tima, who has muscle hypertonicity that prevents him from fully flexing his feet. After a ten-day course of massage therapy, he is already walking less on his tiptoes.

Another client, a 20-year-old young woman, had severe pain in her upper back and shoulders that migrated around her eyes. After receiving a course of massage therapy, her pain has significantly decreased.
Looking back, Nadya’s family now smiles at God’s provision. The massage table they once questioned, has become one of the most valuable tools in Nadya’s ministry of healing.

This month, Nadya will begin treating someone especially close to her heart, her four-year-old sister, Julia, who has Down Syndrome. Through specialized massage techniques that complement speech therapy, Nadya hopes to:
- Strengthen Julia’s facial muscles.
- Encourage speech development.
- Reduce drooling through therapeutic massage of the face and tongue.
For Nadya, this ministry is deeply personal.
Like many families in Ukraine, Nadya’s family is rebuilding their future. This spring, they planted a large vegetable garden and are preparing to expand their family farming business. Next year, they hope to plant squash on additional acreage using the equipment they have worked hard to preserve.

As we continue listening to God, He faithfully leads us to people He has prepared to serve children and adults living with disabilities. Over the past twenty-four years, we have watched Him raise up more and more compassionate massage therapists like Nadya. These people’s gifts and hearts are transforming lives throughout Ukraine.
Because of your prayers and financial support:
- Nadya completed her massage therapy training.
- Children and adults are receiving life-changing therapy.
- Julia will receive specialized care from her own sister.
- Families living with disabled children are finding hope close to home.
- God continues to prepare and equip people to serve others.
Sveta and I are grateful to be part of what God is doing in Ukraine, and we are grateful for you. Your prayers, generosity, and willingness to share our stories make ministries like Nadya’s possible.
Thank you for helping equip hands that heal and hearts that serve.
